Dawn Marie (Mathews) Folk was born right here in Lethbridge, A.B; in 67’. She moved to Redcliff, AB and attended Parkside school. Shortly after, she moved to Medicine Hat and went to McCoy High School till grade 11 and graduated from Catholic Central High School in 1985. Post secondary education saw her graduate from SAIT’s Dental Assistant program which led her to a career with Dr. Malmberg. Shortly after getting her career off the ground, she met up with her future husband, Shawn Folk and were wedded on July 06, 1991. After 5 years of marriage we welcomed our first child, Madison in June of 1996, followed by our second child, Dawson of April 1999. Watching and attending all her children’s sporting events, school activities and investing herself into every moment she could with her husband and children was Dawn’s reason to get up every dawn with a smile on her face and love in her heart.

She was always giving of herself and always anticipating the next moment with family while always being present in the moment. Dawn’s competitiveness was noticed early on in her life right up and including the day she was blessed to go to the other side.

She is greatly missed but never forgotten.
